Meatopia, presented by Whole Foods Market is a unique, meat-centric culinary event hosted by James Beard Award-winning food writer Josh Ozersky.

In its  third year in NYC,  Meatopia’s theme is “City of Meat” and includes chefs such as Marc Forgione, Adam Perry Lang, April Bloomfield, Sean Brock, Naomi Pomeroy, Michael White, and many more.

Remember! This event not just about gorging. As part of the Meatopia Manifesto:

• Every piece of meat at Meatopia is certified cruelty-free, hormone-free, and antibiotic-free.
• Chefs are are urged to celebrate the whole animal, using parts other than the standard, high-priced cuts.
• Chefs will use only natural fuels including  wood logs, chunks, or lump hardwood charcoal. There will be NO gas, electricity, or propane used to prepare the food.
